The Blue Angels

PROFESSIONAL COACHES
The Blue Angels program coaching and instruction is provided by some of Mountain High Resort and Sierra at Tahoe's top professionally-trained and certified instructors. Ski and snowboard instructors are selected by the director of the mountain's ski & snowboard school to teach the 5-day Blue Angels program. Once assigned a group, the instructor remains with that group for the duration of the program. Many of the resort instructors have been coaching with the Blue Angels program since 1992.

CHAPERONES
The Blue Angels program has more than 40 chaperones that escort participants to and from the resorts. Chaperones are also on-hand at the mountain to assist participants while gearing up for the slopes, during lunch and to help them prepare for the trip home. Two to three chaperones are on-duty throughout the day staffing the patrol room and the bus area. Blue Angel chaperones are primarily parents of participants, school teachers or representatives from other youth organizations. Blue Angels chaperones have been through an extensive interviewing and training process including background check and information verification.
