INSTRUCTION

Instruction is provided by a select group of PSIA/AASI trained ski and snowboard instructors. Coaches are each assigned to a class of approximately 8-10 participants based on age and ability for the 5 camp sessions. We require that participants remain with their instructor at all times; however, the coaches are experienced at finding the right balance between technical instruction, free skiing/riding and fast-paced fun on the slopes to ensure that everyone is having a good time AND learning plenty!

SUPERVISION

Chaperones (parents, teachers and recreation leaders) escort participants to and from the resort on our luxury charter motor coaches to ensure a smooth ride, pre-arrival preparation and a good time. Additional support staff and supervisors are also on location at the resort to oversee base facility operations, on-snow group placement and mountain safety. Participants are always under the supervision of volunteer chaperones and instructors and/or Blue Angels staff.

LUNCH/SNACKS

Lunch is provided each program day by outside vendors and local restaurants. Snacks and drinks are also provided throughout the day at our slope-side “hydration station”. Participants provide their own snacks for the bus ride, as we do not serve food or drinks on the ride to or from the mountain.

Orientation meetings prepare both parent and child for the 5-Saturday ski and snowboard camp. Proper preparation helps each participant reach his or her fullest potential on the slopes, as well as sets proper expectations for participants and parents alike. As such, we do require that all NEW participants and a parent or legal guardian to attend one of our orientation meetings. Meetings are held in each region in December and January and last about 30-45 minutes. We will review the Program Guide and answer all of your questions at that time. Click on the links below for the orientation schedule in your region.

All equipment must be obtained prior to each camp session. Special ski and snowboard packages are available to Blue Angel participants to purchase, lease or rent through participating locations. Visit Southern California or Northern California for more info.
